Data Protectify would like to highlight a significant development in Vietnam’s cybersecurity and personal data protection landscape. On 19 August 2026, two key Decrees officially took effect:
Decree No. 330/2026/ND-CP on Administrative Sanctions in the Fields of Cybersecurity and Personal Data Protection; and
Decree No. 333/2026/ND-CP on Detailed Regulations and Implementation Measures of the Law on Cybersecurity.
Together, these Decrees further shape the regulatory and enforcement landscape for cybersecurity and personal data protection in Vietnam, bringing these requirements closer to practical implementation.
