Data Protectify was honored to present at the National Young Scholars Conference 2026: "Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Its Impacts on the Legal Field", organized by the Faculty of Social Sciences and International Languages, Gia Dinh University (GDU). Our research paper has been voted for presentation with the topic "AI Applications in Credit Scoring: A Legal Perspective on Personal Data Protection and Credit Risk Governance."
Representing Data Protectify, Hoàng Hà, DPO & AI Governance, and Ngan Tran, Data & Technology - Legal, together explored several key considerations, including:
- Risks associated with personal data processing in AI-powered credit scoring.
- AI-driven credit decisions and their impact on individual rights.
- Balancing credit security, responsible AI adoption, and individual rights.
- Comparing Vietnam’s regulations with the EU’s approach to high-risk AI in finance.
As AI continues to develop, it also raises important legal and governance questions. Addressing these challenges requires ongoing dialogue and collaboration among legal professionals, policymakers, businesses, and technology practitioners.
Data Protectify sincerely appreciate the opportunity to contribute to this academic forum, exchange perspectives with fellow speakers and participants, and support discussions on responsible AI development and the future of law in Vietnam.
